Thursday morning, I took the train downtown with a 4 pack of Tri-X and my Holga 6x6 pinhole camera. The drizzle descending on the city wasn't my preferred weather choice but I was itching to get back down there. My plan was to push the film to 1600 allowing me to reduce the exposure to 1 second. After 3 hours, I burned through the 4 rolls I brought.
The results were extremely mixed. The light shifted enough among the buildings and changing weather that half of the images were drastically underexposed. The ones that survived were exactly what I wanted. The blur hints at the chaos that I feel in cities. The visual reflection of the energy I feel as I walk up out of the train station onto the busy streets.
