But I didn't work this hard when I traded millions of dollars a day. The combination of doing what I want and no official "end of the day" means that I kept working all day every day. In hindsight, this seems an obvious. Turns out that I am horrible (at least right now) at protecting my time from myself. One of my best friends, Sean McBeth, is a programming gun-for-hire. His rule is that one day a week he can do anything he wants as long as its not work related. The free day fuels Sean's creative adventures that have undoubtedly benefited his "real" job. I guess this might be my first lesson that I learned on this journey.
